How to protect yourself from EMF in your home?
If you wish to protect yourself from EMF’s in your home, there are a few simple steps that will make a big difference. Since your house is likely filled with electromagnetic radiation, and it is where you spend most of your time, it is important to practice EMF protection to protect yourself from potential health concerns, especially with the coming of 5G technology. Here are some ideas to help:
-
Turn off your WiFi router at night. This can be done with an outlet timer that automatically switches on and off at the times you choose.
-
Do not sleep with your cell phone near your bed, since it is constantly emitting EMF’s even when not in use. If you use it for an alarm, at least put it on airplane mode, which will prevent it from emitting EMF radiation.
-
Used wired connections whenever possible. This includes devices like speakers, land line phones, baby monitors, keyboards, mice, and ideally even your Internet connection (in other words don’t use WiFi).
-
Use a whole house EMF protection system that harmonizes the EMF’s so that their damage is minimized. These generally use a bio-energetic technology and will help with EMF’s emitted from within the home as well as those coming from outside of it (like your neighbors’ WiFi networks). Look for one from a company that has research available that demonstrates the effectiveness of its technology.

Use these other strategies to minimize EMF radiation exposure in your home:
- Avoid “smart appliances” that communicate via WiFi, such as refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, etc.
- Do not use a cellular reception booster. These are high emitters of EMF's.
- Do not use “smart home” devices Alexa, Google Home, wireless lighting, wireless thermostats, wireless cameras, etc.
- Try to opt out of a smart meter from your utility company. Smart meters emit short, frequent, powerful bursts of EMF's.
- Do not sleep with your bed headboard against an electrical outlet. Some outlets emit relatively high levels of EMF’s, especially if the wiring is old or done incorrectly.
- Check your home for “dirty electricity”, and if needed install filters. The meters to measure for it and the filters are relatively inexpensive.
- Purchase an EMF measuring meter to look for problem areas in your home. These are also relatively inexpensive and can be found on Amazon.
